How SNOMED CT will be used

As the source of the values list against the Pre-Management, Final and Pathological Diagnosis fields in the online and smartphone-enabled Morbidity Audit and Logbook Tool, and the source of values when recording Non-Operative Management.

Why SNOMED CT was selected

It was considered to be the international standard, particularly with many national governments implementing it in their national e-health records, to provide greater specificity and reporting power.
