How SNOMED CT will be used
SNOMED CT is used to flag the hospital record with a term to identify enrolled patients
SNOMED CT is used to record concepts of care in the hospital record and to generate ED summaries and discharge summaries viewable in the HIE platform
GPs use READ codes
Why SNOMED CT will be used
We will use the descriptive logic in SNOMED for clinical analytics.
