The Swedish Association for Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR) is responsible for standardizing the content in national clinical quality registries to promote automated data transfer from EHR systems to the registries. The work started in 2015 and approximately 25% of the registers (in total 107) have been mapped to SNOMED CT and other terminologies and coding systems.
