The objective is to develop and interoperable infrastructure for the screening, monitoring and training of frailty in the elderly. 

PERSSILAA is a unique project that aims to develop and validate a new service model for older people, to screen for and prevent frailty. This multimodal service model, focusing on nutrition, physical and cognitive function, is supported by an interoperable ICT service infrastructure, utilizing intelligent decision support systems and gamification.

Location: Casa de Campo, Madrid, Spain

Description

The project will be implemented in two European regions: Campania region in Italy and Enschede municipality in The Netherlands.

Scope

The standard CEN/ISO EN13606 will be followed, and SNOMED CT will be used for the semantic interoperability within the archetypes that will be defined to exchange information.
