How SNOMED CT will be used

SNOMED CT was selected for coding information for  multi-resistant bacteria, food hypersensitivity, chemical hypersensitivity, verification of hypersensitivity, hypersensitivity to insect bites and for hypersensitivity reactions or symptoms. SNOMED CT was selected since ICD-10 wasn't detailed enough.
