SNOMED International hosts 2 business meetings annually, in April and October, to engage with the Community of Practice.
These business meetings allow for formal meetings of our governance and advisory bodies (groups with an appointed or elected membership) and working groups (groups completing a defined set of deliverables.) Many of the meetings are open to observers, while some are closed sessions.
The SNOMED CT Expo is SNOMED International’s premiere annual conference. It is run in conjunction with our October business meeting, its location rotating annually among international regions and Member countries.
Once the formal business meetings conclude, the SNOMED CT Expo offers a comprehensive 2-day conference complete with keynote speakers, multi-stream concurrent programs, hands-on tutorials and workshop and an exhibit hall featuring SNOMED CT-enabled applications.
SNOMED International participates in a number of industry and subject matter conferences each year.
