SNOMED - SNOMED CT use case in Lithuania

We have implemented the Project during which:

40,000 of SNOMED CT concepts have been translated into the Lithuanian language;
LITHUANIAN SNOMED CT IS have been developed;
SNOMED CT use case has been implemented in one of the largest Lithuanian outpatient clinics.

Location: Vilnius, Vilnius County, Lithuania

Information System of one of the biggest Lithuanian clinics (Public institution CENTRO Outpatient Clinic).

To code vaccination records and certificates of child health examination in order to transfer these records to central e-health information system.

Because of very complete terminology which helps to avoid different descriptions of diseases and opportunities of interpretation.
