Brazil joined SNOMED International in April 2018 as a means of supporting health system transformation as a foundational element of its ehealth Strategy.


Canada

Canada's representative to SNOMED International is Canada Health Infoway (Infoway), through which the SNOMED CT® terminology standard and related assets are made available to Canadian users.

 


Chile

Chile became a Member on November 1 2013, joining a global effort to develop, maintain, and enable the use of SNOMED CT in health systems around the world.


United States

The United States representative to SNOMED International is the National Library of Medicine (NLM) on behalf of the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).


Uruguay

During 2017 Uruguay continued advancing in the implementation of the National Electronic Health Record (NEHR) project.
