The SNOMED International Mental and Behavioural Health Clinical Reference Group needs YOU!
We are a small group of clinicians and informaticians - primarily from the United States - who have come together with the goal of improving the usability of SNOMED CT in EHR’s for patients with mental and behavioural health problems. We are seeking participation from healthcare professionals globally working in the behavioural, social and neurosciences, as well as anyone involved in the delivery of mental health care around the world.
In the past year, the CRG has tackled concepts ranging from sensory transduction and perception of physical stimuli to gender identity and sexual fetishism. As we move forward, we will address concepts spanning the entire domain of mental, emotional, and social functioning. We are working together to draw up a draft plan for review and revision, where necessary, of existing content and identification of new content in SNOMED CT, based on international requirements.
Come join us as we tackle the most complex and challenging concepts in all of healthcare: concepts related to elusive ideas about the human mind, brain, and behavior.
